I am traveling to Peru for an exciting 3 weeks of exploring and inspiration gathering! I am honored to have received a sabbatical from the Savannah College of Art and Design to travel and complete research around the country. I will be visiting museums, Inca ruins and weaving villages from Lima to the Sacred Valley, as well as Machu Picchu, Cusco and Lake Titicaca. Along the way I will be posting photos and discoveries on this blog, so I hope you can follow along with me as I visit the beautiful country of Peru.

While living in France, I made this watercolor piece of the beautiful stone walls. I was so inspired by the stone architecture and wanted to continue my search of stone walls around the world. This was a huge inspiration for my trip to Peru.
