Lisa Hart works in drawing, collage, assemblage and sculpture. Her art deals with observations of cycles and patterns in nature. She earned a BFA from the Atlanta College of Art in Atlanta and an MFA from UCLA in Los Angeles. Lisa has exhibited work in solo and group exhibitions in museums and galleries throughout the United States and in Europe and Mexico. Her artwork is included in many private and public collections, including the Decorative Museum of Art in Ghent, Belgium, Chattahoochee Valley Museum of Art and King & Spalding Law Firm.

In fall 2006, Lisa Hart joined the Savannah College of Art and Design, Atlanta campus, where she is currently a Professor of Foundation Studies.  From 1993-2006 she taught at Atlanta College of Art, where she was the department head of the Visual Studies Department.  She has been a visiting artist at California State University-Long Beach, Haystack School of Arts and Crafts, Deer Isle, Maine and the Governor’s Honors Program, Valdosta, Georgia. Lisa Hart currently resides in Fayetteville, Georgia, with her husband of 30 years and her poodle, Henri.
